Shout-out to my best friend. :)

Dear Readers,

My best friend, Sarah, posted this on my Facebook today and I feel compelled to share it with you.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.’ We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
~Marianne Williamson.

Sare, thank you for taking the time to share this with me. Not only did it make my day, but it gave me the reassurance I needed to push forward. You inspire me each and every day in so many different ways. You are a role model to me; a leader that I will follow for a lifetime. You have a special place in my heart, and I genuinely value our friendship. I love you and miss you, and hope that someday soon we will be working side by side; inspiring people together. 🙂

To my bloggers, read on. Share with your friends what my friend shared with me. Acknowledge the people you care about most- trust me, it goes a long way.

With love, Court

(PS- Sorry I have been out of operation for the past two weeks. Once I can catch up on my life, I promise my blogs will be more interesting.)
